The BLU-805 belongs to the new generation of Soundweb London devices. It is the heart of a networked Soundweb London processor system. The flexible input/output configuration allows for optimal customization and saves costs when configuring the hardware.
Digital (AES/EBU, SPDIF simultaneously) and analog input/output cards (Mic/Line In - Line Out) can be mixed in steps of 4 at will (16x0, 12x4, 8x8 etc.).
The BLU-805 processor provides four times the DSP power compared to the BLU-80 units. Audio networking for the new generation BLU units can be done via CobraNet (BLU-800, BLU-320), AVB (BLU-805, BLU-325), Dante (BLU-806, BLU-326) and via the BLU-Link audio bus (BLU 800/805/806/320/325/326/160/120/100/101/102/BIB/BOB).
The AVB module integrated in the BLU-805 provides up to 64x64 network channels at a sampling rate of 48 kHz (32x32 at 96 kHz) with redundant connections.
Remote control units like faders, pots, switches, etc. are connected via 18x analog control interfaces. Suitable BSS remote controls are BLU-3/6/8 zone controllers and the comfortable BLU-10 touch screen remote control.
