The BLU-800 belongs to the new generation of Soundweb London devices. It is the heart of a networked Soundweb London processor system. The flexible input/output configuration allows for optimal customization and saves costs when configuring the hardware.
Digital (AES/EBU, SPDIF simultaneously) and analog input/output cards (Mic/Line In - Line Out) can be mixed in steps of 4 at will (16x0, 12x4, 8x8 etc.).
The BLU-800 processor offers four times the DSP power compared to the BLU-80 units. The audio networking of the new generation BLU units can be done via CobraNet (BLU-800, BLU-320) as well as via the new BLU-Link audio bus (BLU 800/320/160/120/100/101/102/BIB/BOB).
The Peak Audio CobraNet CM-1 module integrated in the BLU-800 provides up to 32x32 network channels at a sampling rate of 48 kHz (16x16 at 96 kHz) with redundant connections. The latency is flexibly adjustable (lowest size slightly above 1 ms).
Remote control units like faders, pots, switches, etc. are connected via 18x analog control interfaces. Suitable BSS remote controls are BLU-3/6/8 zone controllers and the comfortable BLU-10 touch screen remote control.
