The BLU-806 belongs to the new generation of Soundweb London devices. It is the heart of a networked Soundweb London processor system. The flexible input/output configuration allows for optimal customization and saves costs when configuring the hardware.
Digital (AES/EBU, SPDIF simultaneously) and analog input/output cards (Mic/Line In - Line Out) can be mixed in groups of 4 channels (16x0, 12x4, 8x8 etc.).
The BLU-806 processor provides four times the DSP power compared to the BLU-80 units. Audio networking for the new generation BLU units can be done via CobraNet (BLU-800, BLU-320), AVB (BLU-805, BLU-325), Dante (BLU-806, BLU-326) and via the BLU-Link audio bus (BLU 800/805/806/320/325/326/160/120/100/101/102/BIB/BOB).
The Dante module integrated in the BLU-806 provides up to 64x64 network channels at a sampling rate of 48 kHz (32x32 at 96 kHz) with a redundant connection.
Remote control can be done via IP using the BSS Contrio controllers, the Motion Control app or via third-party control using the open API.
