The CE-IO4 is a Universal Control Extender, which can be used with all control systems, which allow a connection via Open-API.
Universal Control Extender is used to query voltages at switches or pushbuttons, or to output a voltage where the distance to the control center is too great for direct cabling. The connection can be made either directly to the control center, if it has an appropriate interface, or via an Ethernet switch.
A cable distance of 100 m between control center and CE-IO4, or between switch and CE-IO4 is feasible. The CE-IO4 can also be used as a supplement to a control center in order to have additional IO contacts available if all interfaces on the control center are occupied.
