AKG CS3 DU is the standard microphone unit for participants in the AKG CS3 conference system and is also called delegate microphone unit. The stylish housing combines a loudspeaker, push-to-talk button as well as the receptacle for the gooseneck. Two gooseneck variants are available in lengths of 30 cm and 50 cm, both of which feature an integrated illuminated ring that visually informs the speaker of the microphone's status at all times. In addition, an LED has been placed on the talk button.
Two headphone outputs and a volume control are provided on the side. The wide speaking angle guarantees perfect speech intelligibility even when two people share a microphone unit. The built-in loudspeaker is automatically lowered in level when the microphone is active to avoid feedback or noise. The microphone units are connected to the AKG CS3 BU control unit in up to three spur lines and guarantee high and undistorted speech intelligibility at a moderate price.
