The AKG SR470 diversity receiver allows simultaneous operation of up to 16x channels within one frequency band. By combining several frequency bands, absolutely reliable systems with a maximum of 48x routes are possible. Thanks to the automatic frequency setting, where all free channels are found and displayed in a very short time, the operation is easy even for laymen. A pilot tone transmitted with the transmit signal prevents spurious noise by allowing the receiver to pass the audio signal only when the transmitter is detected. The AKG SR470's display changes color to indicate critical operating conditions, such as low remaining transmitter battery life, audio signal spikes, or low RF field strength. De SR470 operates in a switching bandwidth of max. 30 MHz (per frequency set) in the UHF frequency range from 500 MHz to 865 MHz. Within this switching bandwidth, the receive frequency can be selected from the pre-programmed frequency groups and subchannels on the receiver or set directly in 25 kHz steps. All settings are transmitted from the receiver to the transmitter via an infrared interface.
