The AKG HT470 handheld transmitter has a built-in dipole antenna and 50 mW transmitting power, ensuring maximum transmission reliability even over long distances. The long battery life enables a significant reduction in operating costs. With only one lithium battery, the system can be operated for up to 14 hours, with an alkaline battery for about 6 hours. Using a rechargeable NiMh battery allows up to 8 hours of operation. The remaining time is displayed on the handheld transmitter. Built-in charging contacts allow a battery to be charged directly in the transmitter.
The AKG HT470 is available with two different microphone heads:
The D5 dynamic microphone capsule provides a powerful sound even under extremely loud conditions. The wide frequency response slightly emphasizes the mid and high frequencies, delivering excellent speech intelligibility. The C5 condenser capsule has a cardioid polar pattern, provides high speech intelligibility and optimum protection against feedback.
