The AKG PZM11 LL WR weatherproof boundary microphone is suitable for drive-in restaurants, outdoor intercoms, toll booths, emergency call boxes, amusement parks and the like. A plastic diaphragm mounted in the microphone housing protects the capsule from moisture. The AKG PZM11 LL WR also works during and after rainstorms. If the water freezes on the membrane, the sound changes - but this returns to normal after the ice melts and dries.
The AKG PZM11 LL WR is powered by 12 - 24 volts DC and has a line level output. It can be connected directly to a VCR and does not require an expensive preamplifier.
