The JBL PD525S is a direct radiating subwoofer in bass-reflex technology. The equipment consists of 2x 15" differential drive chassis (2275H), each with a 75 mm dual voice coil. The total power handling is 2,000 watts. Typical applications are sound reinforcement tasks with high level requirements and long distances such as stadiums, arenas, sports venues, exhibition halls etc.
The JBL PD525S has a high maximum level of 141 dB peak. At the same time, it has a very low cutoff frequency of 28 Hz (-10 dB). For optimal impedance matching, the two drivers can be connected in parallel with 4 ohms or individually with 8 ohms each.
The connection is made via coverable screw terminals. The housing with trapezoidal floor plan offers 20x M10 threads for mounting with optional eyebolts. The JBL PD525S is the can be ideally combined with the tops of the JBL PD500 series due to identical housing dimensions.
