The Enova DGX6400 is a digital media switcher with built-in controller that supports 4K and UHD content. It has a modular design and can be optionally equipped with 16 video input and output boards each, as well as audio switching boards. Audio boards have their own slots, so they don't occupy any video slots. Since each video board has 4 connectors, this results in a maximum matrix of 64x64.
The DGX6400 is suitable for AV distribution and control in conference centers, auditoriums, museums and stadiums. Multiple people or rooms can access the unit simultaneously and use it for signal distribution and control.
With constant HDCP handshake at the input, HDCP-encoded signals from devices with only one or a few HDCP keys can also be switched to all outputs simultaneously without any delay in switching.
With the ability to transmit data over very long distances, it is ideal for use in buildings with multiple floors and in building complexes. Via fiber optic cable the range is up to 10 km.
The DGX6400 has a built-in controller, so it is possible to control devices via Ethernet directly from a switch. Remote Ethernet control boxes can provide serial, IR, relay and I/O interfaces. Touch panels and keypads can also be connected as operating devices without an additional control center.
Four redundant power supplies ensure high reliability. All connected signal transmitters and receivers can be supplied with power by the DGX via the twisted pair cables. Additional PoE injectors or PoE switches are not required.
After the initial configuration, all cards used can be replaced during operation without affecting the transmission of the signal paths that are not affected. Newly inserted cards are automatically detected and integrated into the overall system without the need for reprogramming. The new cards can also be intended for processing other types of signals like the originally installed cards.
