The DGX-AIE plug-in card is suitable for the AMX Enova DGX800/1600/3200/6400 matrix systems. It has 16 connectors for analog, unbalanced stereo audio signals. The DGX800 to DGX3200 housings have one slot each on the input and output side, the DGX6400 has four slots each on the input and output side.
The card allows audio sources with analog outputs to be connected directly to an Enova DGX router.
Audio signals from the HDMI inputs or outputs can be filtered out and passed to a separate sound system.
Audio signals mixed in a sound system can be added to the video signals and, depending on the type of connection via twisted pair cable or fiber optics, can be transmitted over longer distances via a single common cable.
