The CE-REL8 is a Universal Control Extender, which can be used with all control systems, which allow a connection via Open-API.
Universal Control Extender is used to switch relays by means of potential-free contacts where the distance to the control center is too great for direct wiring. The connection can be made either directly at the control center, if it has a corresponding interface, or via an Ethernet switch.
A cable distance of 100 m between control center and CE-REL8 or between switch and CE-REL8 is possible. The CE-REL8 can also be used as a supplement to a control center in order to have additional relay contacts available if all contacts on the control center are occupied.
