The JBL VTX B15 is a flyable 15" subwoofer for low frequency extension of the JBL VTX A6 line array elements. It delivers rich, powerful sound and superior performance in an extremely compact package.
The B15 makes use of the newly developed 2285H woofer with neodymium magnets. The chassis design is based on the proven JBL Differential Drive dual voice coil technology. Compared to conventional single coils, the dual coil arrangement provides better heat dissipation, lower power compression and a wider dynamic range.
The subwoofer's enclosure is very rugged and designed to withstand the harsh conditions of touring and outdoor sound reinforcement (IP55 certified). Four large SlipStream bass reflex ports with aerodynamic shape minimize air noise and increase performance, even at maximum excursion.
The JBL VTX B15 pairs perfectly with the JBL VTX A6 line array element, as both are the same width and use the same rigging and mounting components. Together, both products can be flown or used for groundstacking applications.
VTX systems are easy to configure and operate with the control app and software for planning and simulating line array systems.
If flown operation is not desired, the less expensive B15G (Ground) variant without flight harness is available as an alternative.
