The JBL VTX A6 is a passive 2-way line array element. It combines superior audio characteristics and excellent performance in an extremely compact design.
The JBL VTX A6 is equipped with a special 3" polymer diaphragm compression driver (2433H) and two 6.5" differential drive woofers (2288J).
The integrated waveguide and highly effective RBI (Radiation Boundary Integrator) horn design provide precise directivity with wide, uniform horizontal dispersion of 110°. Even the highest frequencies are reproduced powerfully and without distortion.
The high-quality woofers are based on JBL's Differential Dual-Coli-Drive technology. The unique chassis works with a dual voice coil, which is immersed in two air gaps. This results in superior output power - relative to the size of the chassis. The A6's rugged enclosure is IP55 certified, making it impervious to dust as well as splashing water.
A special passive crossover is built in for optimal matching between the tweeter and the two woofers. The A6 system is designed so efficiently that 16 elements can be driven by just one Crown I-Tech 4x3500HD amplifier. By reducing the need for amplifiers, users benefit from less logistics, space savings, and lower costs.
With a maximum sound pressure level of 134 dB, the VTX A6 is ideal for short to medium distance sound reinforcement applications. It can be stacked, flown or permanently installed. The system's areas of application are correspondingly flexible. It ranges from small to medium-sized events, functions and concerts, to fixed installations .
The two subwoofers VTX B15G or VTX B15 are available for low frequency extension. Because the A6 and B15 have the same width and use the same hardware, they can be perfectly combined with each other. There is also a free app for configuration and control, as well as software for planning and simulating line array systems. The 4-point rigging system is also unique. Thanks to "Auto-Locking" function, it makes setup/dismantling faster and safer.
For easy transport as well as easy setup and dismantling, extensive accessories such as transport case, protective covers, rolling board, variable flying frames, etc. are available.
