The Crown XLC series was developed specifically for the requirements in the cinema. The Crown XLC 2800 offers 2x 775 watts into 4 ohms or 2x 400 watts into 8 ohms. Due to its authentic sound, excellent dynamics and enormous headroom, dialogues, film music and action scenes are reproduced faithfully.
The patented DriveCore circuit design offers, among other things, a unique energy management. By recovering energy, Crown XLC amplifiers operate particularly efficiently and save power. It also makes them more powerful than conventional amplifiers. Only Crown amplifiers offer this technology.
With the optional Crown CXM2000, Crown XLC amplifiers become a complete cinema system controller. The CXM2000 includes a monitoring unit and a DSP with presets ( crossover, EQ settings etc) for JBL cinema front systems. The simple system cabling with HD-15 cables is fast, reliable and cost-effective.
