The Genelec 4040A is an active installation loudspeaker for bars, restaurants, retail, meeting rooms or offices. The dispersion is optimized for a wide listening zone and combines a natural, full and balanced sound with compact dimensions.
The sturdy die-cast aluminum enclosure features threaded holes. A wide range of matching wall and ceiling mounts allow flexible installation. 120 RAL colors are available to match the respective environment.
The two integrated Class-D power amplifiers are precisely matched to the drivers and guarantee distortion-free reproduction. A protective circuit intervenes if the playback levels are too high. Dip switches can be used to compensate for the acoustic influences of mounting close to a wall.
The audio input connectiion is via a 3-pin Phoenix terminal. If no signal is present, the speaker automatically switches to standby mode if desired.
