The UVC1-4K can convert high-resolution HDMI2.0 signals to USB3.0 UVC to make them available as video and audio signals via the USB3.0 interface of a PC or notebook. This allows them to be included in video conferencing systems such as Zoom, Teams, WebEx, Skype, Slack, Discord, BlueJeans, GoToMeeting, VLC, and other systems that support UVC. HDMI signals that are not protected by HDCP encryption can be easily recorded.
External audio signals can be integrated as line-in or mic-in via an audio input. In the configuration, it is possible to specify which signal type is to be output embedded: the signal of the source, Line-In, Mic-In, HDMI + Line-In, HDMI + Mic-In, or UVC without audio signal embedding.
In conjunction with an AMX control system, a PC or NUC, and the TPI-PRO license, the UVC1-4K can also be used to set up video preview and preview windows on a touchmonitor that serves as an operating device, thus optimizing the convenient operation of media equipment.
