The CAT4K is a set of transmitter and receiver for transmitting HDMI signals up to 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 via twisted pair cable. The cable length can be up to 35m meters when using CAT6/6a/7 cables. Resolutions up to 1080p@60Hz can be transmitted up to 50m using CAT5e/6/7 cables. The devices are HDCP2.2 compliant.
Audio signals are processed according to HDMI2.0 specifications, incl. PCM, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Atmos, DTS-HD Master Audio and DTS:X
From the receiver, an IR control signal can be transmitted to the transmitter via the CAT cable to control a source connected there (e.g. DVD/Blu-ray player). With the 12VDC universal power supply included in the scope of delivery, connected to the transmitter or the receiver, the respective opposite side can also be supplied with power.
