The JBL 4281F is an extremely flat subwoofer, which is equipped with two 18" chassis. These can be driven individually or in parallel.
The small cabinet depth of only 355 mm allows space-saving positioning behind almost any screen. Since the connections are on the top side, the 4281F can be placed flush against a wall for easy installation. This makes the 4281F ideal as an LFE subwoofer in all halls where space is at a premium.
Alternatively, it can be easily flown in large halls using the four suspension points, making it very interesting for surround subwoofer applications such as Dolby Atmos. The 4281F and appropriate bass management can significantly reduce the load on the surrounds and increase the overall performance.
