The 3730 is a 3-way front system for short to medium listening distances. It was designed for small halls and mixing studios. It can be controlled in passive or bi-amp mode (2-way active).
The system consists of the JBL 3739 woofer unit and the 3730MHF midrange-tweeter section. Due to the small dimensions compared to other 3-way systems, it is also suitable for lower or smaller rooms and picture walls. The horn-loaded midrange section provides especially in the critical midrange for pleasant sound with excellent speech intelligibility and great dispersion accuracy. The special, asymmetrical vertical dispersion of -30° and +20° or horizontally 90° achieves an extremely balanced sound distribution even with strongly rising rows of seats.
Due to the favorable price as well as the 3-way passive mode, the 3730 is also suitable for demanding but cost-oriented installations.
