The JBL CPi 2000 is an affordable, universal 5.1 and 7.1 cinema processor. The integrated DSP allows the recall of JBL speaker presets. Alternatively, other crossover settings can be freely selected. For individual room adjustment of all channels, a graphic third-octave band EQ and other filters are available in each output.
The operation during operation can be done directly on the device by means of a large display and various function keys. A free software is available for commissioning and configuration, which simplifies even complex calibration procedures. The JBL CPi2000 also accepts external TMS commands
In addition to the two analog or digital 8-channel cinema inputs (HD-25 each), a microphone (XLR) and a stereo signal (RCA) can also be connected. The two analog HD-25 outputs are used for emergency purposes or for looping through the signal. Files can be saved or preconfigured settings can be loaded via the USB connection.
The HD-15 system cabling ensures a fast and secure connection to the power amplifiers. With Crown DSI and XLC power amplifiers, error messages are also transmitted to the CPi 2000, thus enabling remote monitoring of the amplifiers. For emergency operation an optional 12 Volt power supply can be connected.
