The AKG CHM99 condenser pendant microphone is easy to mount and simple to use.
Especially for the recording of church choirs, there are hardly any cheaper and simpler solutions. The CHM99 is simply suspended from the ceiling with a carrier, turned in the right direction and then fixed. Then adjust the correct angle by means of a spring clamp - done!
With two AKG CHM99 hanging microphones, both classic stereo recordings in XY technique and in ORTF technique can be accomplished. The latter corresponds most closely to the natural hearing sensation of humans.
