The AKG CBL301 is a boundary microphone for conference tables. The 3 built-in microphone capsules are arranged to cover a 360° area. By simply touching the housing, the microphone can be switched on and off from any side. The operating status is displayed in color via an LED ring.
Sound reproduction and speech intelligibility of the CBL301 are excellent. Due to the spherical overall directional characteristic, sound is picked up equally from all directions. Disturbing RF interference from smartphones and laptops is effectively suppressed.
Both the touch function and the illuminated ring display are programmable via logic inputs. Another logic input is available for mute control. The logic control can be done by external devices (e.g. BSS DCP 555). The best sonic results can be achieved with AKG automatic mixers. Connection is particularly easy thanks to Phoenix connectors.
