AMX NMX-ENC-N2412A-C - Video Over IP Encoder Card

The NMX-ENC-N2412A-C is an encoder card that distributes video at resolutions up to 4K60 4:4:4 with low latency over Gigabit Ethernet networks. JPEG2000 encoding plays cinema-quality video with only 2 frames of latency.

In addition, HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2 interfaces are supported. In addition, the encoder is now compatible with more 4K sources and displays.

The NMX-ENC-N2412A uses the same program interfaces, web interfaces and software as AMX's existing Networked AV products.

4K60 is best suited for high-resolution, large-scale video transmission. AMX N2400 Series units are perfect for lecture halls, learning spaces, and anywhere viewers expect perfect picture quality.

Front panel equipment: 1 USB-B port for KVM function; for connecting a PC to operate it from the decoder with keyboard/mouse.
Reset button to initiate a "warm" reboot that resets the processor but does not cut power; current settings are not affected. The button is recessed in the case to prevent accidental actuation.
ID key for sending a login signal to the network to identify the device; triggers a pop-up dialog in N-Able and N-Command. The key is recessed in the housing to exclude accidental actuation.
Power supply: via the internal power supply of the card carrier NMX-ACC-N9206, PoE+ (Power-over-Ethernet) via a PoE switch or a PoE injector according to IEEE802.3at Class 4 (802.3at Type 2), via optional external power supply 12VDC/3.0A, connection via 2-pin connector strip.
