The JBL AWC62 (AWC = All Weather Compact) is a coaxial, weatherproof 6.5"/1" outdoor loudspeaker. Typical applications are outdoor sound reinforcement applications such as amusement parks, sports stadiums, swimming pools, outdoor stages or cruise ships.
The woofer has a weather-resistant Kevlar cone. The tweeter driver is coaxial. The maximum sound pressure is 120 dB peak in 8 Ohm operation. The frequency range is from 70 Hz to 18 kHz at -10 dB. The continuous power handling is 175 watts (8 ohms). The dispersion angle is 110°x110°. The paintable enclosure is made of gray laminated plastic reinforced with fiberglass. The three-layer loudspeaker cover is constructed of powder-coated galvanized steel grille, acoustic foam and fine fabric.
The JBL AWC62 is certified IP56 for outdoor use at 5° downward tilt in accordance with IEC 529.
The enclosure has two M10 threads for the U-bracket. The powder coated galvanized steel U-bracket is included. Another M6 mounting point is used for securing.
