The dbx DJDi is a passive 2-channel DI box for DJs and musicians. It converts 2 unbalanced signals (2-pole - jack/ RCA) to balanced (3-pole - XLR). This conversion is necessary to connect signals from high impedance sources/instruments (guitar, bass) directly to the microphone input of a mixer or audio interface. DJs especially appreciate the ground lift function, which helps them avoid hum loops.
The volume of the input signal can be adjusted to prevent distortion caused by overdriving. Due to its passive design, the dbx DJDi does not require a power supply (AC adapter or battery).
