The JBL PD544, PD564, PD566, PD595 are horn loaded 2-way installation loudspeakers for large sound reinforcement applications. Typical applications are sound reinforcement tasks with high level requirements and long distances such as stadiums, arenas, sports venues, exhibition halls, etc.. The JBL PD500 models differ primarily in their dispersion characteristics (40°x40°; 60°x40°, 60°x60°, 90°x50°). The equipment consists in each case of a 15" woofer (2031H) and a 1.5" tweeter driver (2432H) in coaxial arrangement. They have a high maximum level of 137 - 139 dB peak. The continuous power handling is 500 watts. They can be operated passively or bi-amp. The frequency range is from 50 Hz to 20 kHz (-10 dB). The connection is made via coverable screw terminals. The housing with trapezoidal floor plan offers 20x M10 threads for mounting with optional eyebolts. The JBL PD500 tops can be ideally combined with the subwoofer JBL PD525S due to identical cabinet dimensions.
