Balanced sound and high power handling
The JBL Control 23-1 is a very compact full-range speaker for indoor and outdoor use (IP-44). The power handling and wide frequency response allow for good background sound reinforcement with music and speech signals. Typical applications include: Hospitality, retail stores, conference halls, sports venues, hotels, churches, schools, etc.
Due to the integrated transformer, operation in ELA systems as well as in low impedance (transformer in bypass) systems is possible. The 3" woofer has a special fiberglass cone that combines excellent audio characteristics and weather resistance. The 0.5" tweeter is liquid cooled for high power handling. The 100° x 100° dispersion angle is extremely uniform and allows vertical or horizontal mounting.
With the InvisiBall invisible ball joint mount, highly variable and accurate mounting is possible. In addition, the concealed mount is theft resistant. The JBL Control 23-1 is available in black or white. Optional U-bracket holder, connector cover and front grille with increased weather protection (IP-55) are available.
