The Soundcraft Vi7000 is a digital mixing console system consisting of a control unit with 44 faders, local rack and stagebox. Due to the modular design, the system can be adapted according to requirements.
The components in detail: A compact, space-saving control unit with 44 faders and 5 touch screens, each with sixteen integrated knobs and switches. A configurable local rack with the Studer SCore DSP engine, analog and digital inputs and outputs (see D21M cards) One or more Soundcraft stageboxes with up to 64 inputs and/or 64 outputs.
Vistonics II, Fader Glow, 40-bit floating point processing, Lexicon, BSS - features you will only find on Soundcraft/STUDER consoles.
With up to 384 inputs and 384 outputs, 128 channels and 32 stereo buses (plus LCR/Solo), the Soundcraft Vi7000 leaves nothing to be desired, even for major events, whether for FOH or monitor applications. Likewise, 128 tielines are available.
In addition to 8 Lexicon effects and 35 BSS graphic equalizers, the Soundcraft Vi7000 also offers 16 DPR901 Dynamic EQs with full VistonicsII integration. In addition, the Vi7000 allows not only AKG digital radios but also Shure ULX-D/QLX-D series to be integrated with the VistonicsII channel strip (battery status, RF level, mute on/off switch, and more).
The layout of the Soundcraft Vi7000 control surfaces is basically identical to the Vi6. This means seamless integration into existing setups and absolutely identical workflow. Since the show files are also compatible, the Soundcraft Vi7000 ensures unrestricted acceptance in the market and on riders.
Configuration example
A Soundcraft Vi7000 surface with 5 DSP and 5 MADI/Dante cards in the local rack enables the following applications simultaneously with 128 channels and 32 stereo buses (plus LCR, solos):
Operation of two fully equipped stageboxes (128 inputs on 64 outputs) A 128-track recording (128 inputs, 128 outputs) The connection of Universal Audio Plug/Realtime Racks (up to 64 MADI channels) for state of the art plug-ins
The integration of a new active breakout box via BLU-Link provides sufficient patch possibilities at the desk.
