Both the speaker and interpreter stations can be controlled via the control center. The audio signals are converted into a frequency-modulated infrared light and transmitted via infrared radiators.
AKG CSX - Infrared Interpreter System for Wireless Audio Transmission
The AKG CSX is an infrared interpreting system for simultaneous transmission of 10 languages. It is used at multilingual congresses, conferences, meetings and events. It is best used in conjunction with the AKG C5 conference system. Other audio sources or microphone units can be easily connected to the CSX system and transmitted. The CSX system consists of a control center, infrared emitters and receivers.
And this is how the system works:
Audio signals or simultaneous translations can be fed in from the CS5 conference system. Each channel is transmitted separately to the receivers via infrared. The audience can then select their preferred language on their receivers.
Up to 10 analog audio signals can be fed in via chinch connection. Each channel is transmitted separately to the receivers via infrared. The listeners can then select their preferred language or audio channel on their receivers.
Mixed operation between analog and CS5 playback is possible.
From the CS5 conference system, the digital audio signals or the simultaneous translations can be played in. For recording, they can be output again in analog.
