Crown DCi-ND amplifiers are high quality 4 and 8 channel amplifiers with network connectivity, digital AVB input and integrated DSP for demanding installation applications. Outputs of 8x 600 or 4x 1,250 watts (4, 8 ohms, 70 volts and 100 volts) are available. The Crown DCi-ND series is based on high-efficiency chip amplifier technology that enables outstanding performance in a minimal footprint. The advanced Class-D power amplifier circuitry delivers the same output power into 4 and 8 ohms and into 70 or 100 volts. Additional transformers are not required for 70/100 volt operation.

The Crown DCi-ND amplifiers work with the TCP/IP (Ethernet) protocol, which is used in HiQnet. Audio Architect" is used as the control and monitoring software. The extensive equipment allows monitoring of levels, impedances, error messages (clipping, voltage, temperature) and pilot tone. Furthermore, the audio signals can be extensively processed by DSPs. Among others, the following features are available: multi-stage limiters for inputs and outputs, input compressor, 48 K or 96 K sample rate, input and output delay, input and output EQ, signal generator and crossover.

In addition to analog inputs, Crown DCi-ND models also have a digital AVB (Audio Video Bridging) input.

The 2U Crown DCi-ND amplifiers have a superior signal-to-noise ratio of >108 dB. The innovative DriveCore circuit design guarantees extremely high efficiency. The so-called "sleep" mode also contributes to the optimal energy balance. In this standby mode, less than 1 watt is required despite immediate power readiness. In addition, the "Auto-Standby" mode can be optionally activated, which automatically switches off the amplifier after a predefined time without signal.

A display, the control elements and the on/off switch are located on the front panel. The low weight as well as the compact height for up to 8 channels allow the space-saving integration of complex systems even in small racks.

The Crown DCi-ND series is predestined for complex networked applications such as churches, exhibition and convention centers, cinemas, theme parks, large hotels and studios.
