The Intellivox-DSX series consists of five different models with lengths from 115 cm to 500 cm. The types DSX 115/180/280/430/500 work with 4" chassis, 1" dome tweeters and integrated amplifiers. Due to the additional tweeters, the DSX models have an extended frequency range up to 18,000 Hz. In addition to speech reinforcement, they are also ideally suited for demanding music reproduction.
All models are equipped with DDS technology (Digital Directivity Synthesis). In this process, the emitted beam is decisively adapted to the area to be sounded. An FIR filter set ensures that each driver receives its own calculated signal and thus the interaction of the radiation is optimized exactly for the specified listening area. Areas such as the back wall of a room can be defined as areas not to be covered, which is taken into account when calculating the DSP parameters (beam shaping).
A wide range of mounting accessories is available to enable trouble-free installation. In addition to the standard version in RAL 9010 (white), other colors are optionally available.
The software DDA (Digital Directivity Analysis) allows to simulate and optimize the radiation characteristics of JBL Intellivox systems in a 3D model.
The WinControl software can be used to program and monitor JBL Intellivox systems. It is also used to transfer the settings from the DDA simulation to the DSP of the JBL Intellivox systems.
