The Univox CLS-5T is a high performance loop amplifier with different audio inputs from different audio sources for hearing assistance for hearing aids with T-coils and cochlear implants.
The CLS-5T is excellent for use in vehicles such as, cabs, buses, streetcars or elevators. Operation with 12-24 VDC or with a 110-240 VAC power supply allows a wide range of applications, even for use in large TV lounges and conference rooms. Easy integration into different audio systems is given by digital, coaxial and analog audio inputs.
Audio quality is significantly improved by the integrated electronic transformer. These prevent modulation distortion at high output power.
The amplifier has MLC (Metal Loss Correction), as well as the unique Dual Action AGC (automatic gain control), which allows the sound to return immediately after noise reduction.
The CLS-5T also has an alarm input that can be activated by external alarm commands such as telephone, doorbell or vehicle alarm system.
For installation in an elevator, the CLS-5T has enough power to drive a multiple loop on the roof of an elevator car.
