The JBL VTX F18S is a compact high-performance subwoofer with a 18" driver in bass-reflex design. The used 18" 2269H works with high-quality technologies such as a neodymium magnet and dual voice coil drive. It achieves an extremely large excursion for high sound pressure and low cut-off frequency. The frequency response ranges from 24 - 300 Hz (-10 dB) with a power handling of 2,000 watts.
The enclosure dimensions are consistent with the JBL VTX F Series system design. The F18S has the height of a standing F15 and the same width as a lying F12. This allows for various stacking combinations within the VTX F Series.
An additional NL4 connector on the front grille and special V5 settings for I-Tech HD power amps also allow cardioid configurations.
On the top of the enclosure there is a M20 flange for mounting stand rods. For permanent installation 16x M10 mounting points are available.
