The Crown I-Tech 4x3500 HD is a 4-channel amplifier with 4x inputs, 4x outputs and 4x independent processors. Thus, four identical or different signals can be processed simultaneously. The amplifier has a maximum power of 4x 3,500 watts into 2 ohms (1 kHz, 20 ms burst). It is operated by an encoder and 3 buttons on the front panel or by software. The amplifier is designed for demanding touring use.
The circuit design of the Crown I-Tech 4x3500 HD has already been proven in the 2-channel I-Tech HD amplifiers. Like the two-channel models, the 4x3500 HD has a rugged 2U chassis weighing only 13.2 kg.
At the heart of the 4-channel Crown I-Tech HD is a 4-way BSS Omnidrive HD DSP that provides extensive signal processing. This includes FIR filters, 24-bit/192 kHz converters, various filters with a wide range of characteristics, and LevelMax, Peak Voltage and RMS limiters. Also new is a sophisticated fan control, which is monitored by a microprocessor. The equipment includes 4x analog, 4x digital AES/EBU as well as CobraNet inputs. To control the connected speakers, the Crown I-Tech 4x3500 HD has comprehensive impedance monitoring and fault memory. A 100 MBit network connection is used for remote control and remote monitoring of the power amplifier.
The front panel of the Crown I-Tech 4x3500 HD also features a USB port for easy preset data transfer using a memory stick. Using the free System Architect or Performance Manager software, all parameters of the amplifier can be freely programmed, saved and reloaded. The operation of the most important parameters and the loading of presets is also possible directly on the device without software.
