The USB3.1-15M is a 15m active USB3.1 extension cable with male and female type A connectors. It is backward compatible with USB2.0 and USB1.1 and supports data rates up to 5Gbps. No driver installation is required for use.
The power supply for the built-in electronics is provided by an external power supply . This allows it to be used with USB connections in DisplayPort mode, where no power supply is supported for the connected devices. Overvoltage detection and overvoltage protection are integrated.
