The 3153 is a cost-effective 3-way cinema front system for short listening distances. It was designed for small, budget-oriented halls. It can be driven either in passive or bi-amp mode (2-way active). The system consists of the JBL 3159 woofer unit and the 3132MHF midrange-tweeter section. The horn-loaded midrange section provides pleasant sound with excellent speech intelligibility and great dispersion accuracy, especially in the critical midrange. Due to the small dimensions compared to other 3-way systems, it is also suitable for lower or smaller rooms and picture walls.
