The JBL CBT 200LA is a passive columnloudspeaker with a length of 200 cm. It is equipped with 32x 2" chassis and allows a controlled radiation from 300 to 16,000 Hz. The integrated passive circuit thereby controls the chassis with different delay times.
Depending on the application, the vertical dispersion angle can be switched by activating other delay times of 15°, 30° (symmetrical dispersion) or 22° (asymmetrical dispersion with -15° and +7°). This provides controlled radiation of 15°, 22° or 30° vertically and 150° horizontally. The sound characteristics of the JBL CBT 200LA can also be switched from speech to music depending on the sound reinforcement task. The integrated transformer allows both 70/100 volt and low impedance operation with 4 ohms.
Typical applications are long distances in highly reflective or acoustically problematic listening areas such as churches, train stations, airports, schools, shopping malls or exhibition areas. Due to the exact dispersion characteristics of the JBL CBT sound lines, the systems can be aligned very precisely. Thus, the sound energy is concentrated on the pure listening area and destructive reflections are minimized. The result is a clear and precise reproduction with very high speech intelligibility.
The JBL CBT 200LA sound line is supplied in two parts, which must be assembled together on site using a connecting plate. The included wall bracket and the 36x M6 mounting points on the back allow for a variety of installation options. The JBL CBT 200LA soundbar is available in black and white (WH) and is weatherproof according to IP-55.
