AKG Lyra is the perfect solution for creating your own podcasts. Create excellent studio-quality voice and instrument recordings in seconds. The sophisticated 4-microphone capsule array offers four switchable characteristics on the device. This allows you to influence the sound or to talk to the microphone from the front and the back at the same time and, for example, record vocals and guitar at the same time. Lyra can be set up on a computer or smartphone in a flash without driver installation and delivers first-class results for recording and live streaming.
A headphone output on the bottom of Lyra enables latency-free monitoring of the microphone signal (zero-latency monitoring). The mix control lets you seamlessly blend between microphone monitoring and playback from the computer. Lyra can also be used as a qualitative USB sound card with stereo headphone jack for playback of audio files!
The solid metal stand not only looks damn good, it provides secure footing and allows for ideal alignment of the mic. Furthermore, it serves to suppress noise such as impact sound, which could be transmitted via the tabletop, for example. If required, Lyra can also be separated from the supplied stand and attached to any conventional microphone stand.
