The Crown ComTech 8150 is a high-quality, fanless 8-channel installation amplifier. It provides 125 watts per channel (4/8 ohms). The Crown ComTech series is based on a highly efficient chip amplifier technology, which allows excellent performance with minimal space requirements.
Measuring only 1U in size, the ComTechs have an outstanding signal-to-noise ratio of >110dB. The innovative DriveCore circuit concept guarantees an extremely high efficiency of >90%. The so-called "sleep" mode also contributes to the optimal energy balance. In this standby mode, less than 1 watt is required despite immediate power ready.
All operating elements such as potentiometers or the flexible input routing are safely located on the back of the devices to prevent operating errors. The low weight as well as the compact height allow the integration even in very small racks. Crown ComTech amplifiers are predestined for demanding applications such as conference rooms, studios or media sound reinforcement.
The optional XFMR-4 and -8 transformer units allow 70 or 100 volt operation on Crown ComTech amplifiers.
