The JBL CBT 50LA is a compact, passive columnloudspeaker with a length of 50 cm. It is equipped with 8x 2" chassis and allows a controlled radiation from 1500 to 20,000 Hz. The integrated passive circuit controls the chassis with different delay times. Thus, a controlled radiation of 20 ° vertically and 150 ° horizontally is achieved. The sound characteristic of the JBL CBT 50LA can be switched from speech to music depending on the application. The integrated transformer allows both the 70/100 volt and low impedance operation with 8 ohms.
Typical applications are highly reflective or acoustically problematic listening areas such as churches, train stations, airports, schools, shopping malls or exhibition areas. Due to the exact dispersion characteristics of the JBL CBT sound lines, the systems can be aligned very precisely. Thus, the sound energy is concentrated on the pure listening area and destructive reflections are minimized. The result is a clear and precise reproduction with very high speech intelligibility.
The included wall mount and the 10x M6 mounting points on the back allow for a variety of installation options. The JBL CBT 50LA sound line is available in black and white (WH) and is weatherproof according to IP-54.
