The Crown I-Tech 5000HD is a modern high power amplifier. It has a continuous output of 2x 2,500 watts (4 ohms). The Class-I circuit (BCA) of the 5th generation guarantees a very high operational reliability and ensures operation up to impedances of 1 Ohm. The power amplifier is 2 U high and weighs 12.7 kg.
The integrated BSS Omnidrive DSP offers 24 bit/192 kHz converters, up to 64 filters (FIR, IIR) with 9x different filter characteristics. Further features are limiters (Level Max, Peak Voltage, RMS) as well as digital AES/EBU and CobraNet inputs. These can be switched as master and/or average input to the analog inputs. For control, Crown I-Tech HD power amplifiers feature fault memory and impedance monitoring. Interruptions and short circuits of cables and speakers are detected directly.
A 100 MBit network connection is used for remote control and remote monitoring of the power amplifiers. There is also a USB port on the front panel for easy data transfer of presets with a memory stick. The HD amplifiers offer space for 50x presets. With the free HiQnet software all parameters of the power amplifiers can be freely programmed, saved and loaded. The operation of the most important parameters and the loading of presets is also possible directly on the device.
