The JBL Control 40CS/T is a ceiling subwoofer with 8" drivers and a bass reflex metal cabinet.
The integrated passive crossover is optimized for combination with two or four JBL Control 42C satellite speakers. This creates a high quality subwoofer/satellite system for ceiling mounting.
The active frequency separation also allows the combination with all other models of the Contractor Control series.
Features of the ceiling subwoofer include a 70/100 volt transformer with 8 ohm bypass circuitry, a rugged metal enclosure and a visually pleasing front grille.
