The AKG K240 MKII is a semi-open studio headphone with circumaural ear pads. It is versatile for recording, live production, and mixing.
In order to be able to analytically evaluate the quality of a recording, studio headphones reproduce music as neutrally as possible. Accordingly, the sound of the AKG K240 MKII is spatially differentiated, with wide stereo reproduction and good depth of instruments.
The very natural bass reproduction is due to the semi-open design of the headphones. Because the housing is permeable to the outside, bass sounds more open and not as compressed as with closed headphones. In addition, semi-open headphones shield the ear sufficiently against disturbing external noise and have a better heat exchange.
Due to its light weight and soft ear pads, the wearing comfort of the AKG K240 MKII is very high. The pleasantly soft ear pads do not rest on the ear and are hardly noticeable when worn. For the perfect fit, the earband automatically adjusts to the head. The ear pads are removable and can be easily cleaned with water.
The headphone cable of the AKG K240 MKII is pluggable and can be changed at any time.
Due to its low impedance and high sensitivity, the AKG K240 MKII is also suitable for mobile players (smartphone) and USB interfaces.
The scope of delivery includes velour and leatherette ear pads, jack adapter, 1.8 m headphone cable, 3 m headphone cable and 5 m spiral headphone cable.
