The AKG K271 MKII is a closed studio headphone with circumaural ear pads. It is versatile and suitable for use in the studio and for live productions.

In studio headphones, particular emphasis is placed on neutral reproduction. Only in this way can the quality of a recording be properly assessed in the recording studio. The AKG K271 MKII has a very high-resolution and balanced sound. The spatial imaging and depth gradation are very differentiated. Even the finest sonic details are reproduced without distortion.

In the recording studio, closed headphones are usually used when recording vocals and instruments. They prevent sound from the headphones from spilling over into the microphone. It is therefore important that the headphones are optimally shielded from the outside. The AKG K271 MKII ensures maximum shielding and best external isolation during live productions. Since the sound pressure cannot penetrate to the outside, closed headphones also have better bass reproduction.

With the AKG K271 MKII, the ear is completely enclosed. Since the pressure is distributed over a larger area, the headphones are comfortable to wear. At the same time, the ears prevent the headphones from slipping.

In the headband of the AKG K271 is a switch that automatically mutes the audio signal when the headphones are removed. If you put the headphones on, the signal is immediately back.
