The JBL VRX932LAP line array element is based on the well-known passive JBL VRX932LA system. It uses the same loudspeaker components 2262 (woofer) and 3x 2408J (tweeter). However, it is additionally equipped with a modern Crown DPC-2 power amplifier module.
The bi-amp DPC-2 amplifier module has an output of 875 watts continuous or 1,750 watts peak power. The highly efficient Class-D circuitry achieves maximum power and sound quality at a very low weight.
The complete JBL VRX932LAP loudspeaker weighs only 24 kg including the power amplifier. This allows up to five JBL VRX932LAP to be flown on one VRX-AF flying frame.
The equipment includes an extensive digital signal processor (DSP), which is precisely tuned to the parameters of the individual components. In addition, the "Array Configuration Selector" (ACS), which allows easy and fast scaling of the individual systems in the array. The equipment is completed by lockable PowerCon power connectors with loop-through capability.
