The KNX-IP2 establishes a bidirectional connection between the KNX bus of the building control with an AMX controller of the media control. Control commands for switching and dimming the light, controlling motors for blinds, sunshades, screens, etc., setting the air conditioning, opening and closing doors and windows, and much more, are possible via the operating devices of the media control.
Values, such as temperature, brightness, wind strength, rain or dryness, which are read out from the KNX, can be evaluated and used for automatic, pre-programmed control sequences.
Up to four controllers can access the gateway simultaneously via the network. This reduces the number of gateways required to control building technology by up to 75%.
