The JBL VRX915M is a compact, lightweight stage monitor: at 21 kg, the 15" 2-way system delivers mighty power at peaks of 3,200 watts. The height of only 37.5 cm is so low that the audience's view of the stage action is only minimally affected. The monitor has a lightweight and powerful neodymium woofer, which is characterized by a particularly accurate bass response. The exceptionally powerful tweeter with 4" voice coil and 1½" aluminum horn features clear highs and a wide frequency range, which is especially crucial for the assertive reproduction of stage monitors.
Switching between Passive Full Range and Bi-Amp modes is accomplished via a recessed switch next to the Speakon connectors in the recess of the carrying handle. Another Speakon connector is located in the opposite carrying handle to keep cable lengths to the necessary minimum. The enclosure is made of multiplex birch wood and covered with JBL's DuraFlex paint. The symmetrical wedge shape of the cabinet allows for flexible positioning with a set-up angle of 30° each. Both rear panels are equipped with non-slip rubber feet.
