Since the AKG CK92 capsule does not have a distance-dependent frequency curve due to its spherical polar pattern - for physical reasons - the proximity effect is basically eliminated.

The AKG CK92 delivers a true-to-life sound image of the surroundings, with constant sound quality, no matter what the distance to the sound source.
