The NMX-DEC-N1222A-C allows MPC compressed streams to be decoded and displayed on any screen. Due to the MPC compression method, videos are visually compressed without loss, require less bandwidth and can be transmitted almost latency-free. The latency for gigabit connections is only 10 ms (encoding + decoding combined).
Audio signals can be received independently of the video signal, either as a standard audio stream, or as an AES67 stream directly and without further conversion from devices on the network that support AES67.
An RS232 and an IR interface can be used to control the connected sink, and a second Ethernet interface allows control via Ethernet. This TCP/IP interface is also usable for connecting operating devices of a media control system, expansion interface boxes with control interfaces, and as a tunneled network connection for PCs and laptops.
